What's It All About?

I started this blog because I love to decorate and paint and turn a plain old room into a unique space.  I'm always being told that I have a talent for designing.  So I thought I would share some of my ideas with you.  One of the ways I create decor in my home is to do it on the cheap!  Most things I purchase come from thrift stores... and with a little creative altering I can bring new life into an old object.  The name Rustic Renditions came from my love of the rustic look... but I also incorporate other design tastes into my decor for an eclectic flair.  I hope you enjoy some of my thoughts on decorating and will be inspired to try some of them for your own home.
